The secret to pool deck cleaning for stamped concrete is using the right method, not the most pressure. In Progreso, TX, we match the cleaner and pressure to the surface so it comes out clean without damage. For stamped concrete, that means moderate-pressure wash.
How we clean it
Cleaning solution: A sealer-safe cleaner; a degreaser for oil spots.
What to know about cleaning stamped concrete
Stamped and colored concrete is usually protected by a sealer. Washing it well is the first step before resealing, and the color and pattern look much better after both.
Avoid: High pressure that strips sealer unevenly or wears off color release on the surface.
How often: Wash yearly; reseal every 2-3 years.

Local pool deck cleaning for stamped concrete for Progreso, TX
Shaded driveways, walkways and pool decks in Texas grow black mildew and algae quickly and can become slippery. Pre-treating the growth before washing, and post-treating after, keeps them clean longer than pressure alone.
Some cities in Texas limit outdoor water use, including washing hard surfaces with a hose, especially during drought declarations. Pressure washers use far less water than an open garden hose, but rules vary, so it's worth checking your city's current restrictions. Wash water should also be kept out of storm drains.

For stamped concrete: usually 1,500-2,500 PSI, kept even so the sealer isn't stripped in patches. What we avoid: high pressure that strips sealer unevenly or wears off color release on the surface. We keep the pressure even and controlled, with the right tools for the surface.
Is pool deck cleaning for stamped concrete safe for my plants and pets?
We pre-wet plants and lawns, keep cleaning solutions diluted to what the surface needs, and rinse landscaping again when we finish. Keep pets and children inside until surfaces are rinsed and dry.
